The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett

This is a wonderful, silly book full of characters doing silly things and creating wonderful images in your mind. It is a fantasy story based upon a girl who thinks she might be a witch, a queen who steals things from other worlds and a toad with a very legal mind.

The Wee Free Men are only 15cm tall, covered in blue tattoos and very willing to fight with anything! They steal everything, like eggs and live in the tombs of long dead kings.

I think this book would suit a confident reader with a liking for a laugh!
