Development Plan

Every year we produce a plan which details the developments we want to make as a school. It contains all the information about what we are going to do, how we plan to do it, who is responsible and when we will complete it.

The full plan contains lots of information about budgets, monitoring and evaluation. It also has to contain links to government initiatives and other paper pushing exercises.

However, this year we have produced the "Working Version" which we are making available to everyone.

The plan only contains an outline of what we do and probably misses out 60% of what goes on in school. If something is not in the plan it doesn't mean it won't happen, it just means we don't need a piece of paper to make it happen!

The key objectives below are the wider headings for the plan. If you click on one of them it will link you to some details and any other information which we feel is relevent.

Key Objective One:         To ensure progress is made whilst changing schools and year groups

Key Objective Two:         To enhance learning throughout the school by developing ICT

Key Objective Three:       To maintain the quality of teaching and learning through staff wellbeing

Key Objective Four:         To develop a creative curriculum to suit the needs of our children

Key Objective Five:         To improve standards in all areas

Key Objective Six:           To meet the changing curriculum by developing the buildings and facilities

Key Objective Seven:      To develop further as a healthy school

Key Objective Eight:        To make sure that the children understand the wider world
